The weekend of February 28 and March 1 probably found the majority of Savannians snoozing in front of the tv while the weatherman blew in rain and cold and 25 mph winds.  But Savannah ’s junior tennis players were out at Savannah Chatham Scott Stell Park playing their hearts out for the first USTA / SATA Sanctioned Junior Tournament and the directors and parents were busy mopping and blow-drying courts so that these  juniors could play their hearts out.

Zambia Bryant is SATA’s Junior Team Tennis Coordinator and the Tournament Director.  She received special training for this event, put the tournament together, gathered 71 plus players and had to deal with a particularly bad weather weekend.  But she did it.  And it worked.
